Visual

Ruby red, with shades of cherry and violet.

Palate

Velvety, balancing the richness of the structure with velvety tannins. Opulent, meaty, and spicy. The finish may seem austere when the wine is young, but then the wine develops its structure and smoothness. 

Nose

Ripe fruit (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and blackcurrants) on a spicy background. These complex aromas evolve as the wine matures towards cherry sweetness, cherry liqueur, and leather.
