Tenuta Tignanello - Marchesi Antinori

The worldwide renowned Marchese Antinori winery is in the heart of Tuscany, Italy. Established in 1385, the Antinori family has produced exceptional wines for over 600 years. Today, the winery is run by Piero Antinori and his three daughters, Albiera, Allegra, and Alessia, who continue to uphold the family's tradition of producing high-quality and innovative wines. The Tenuta Tignanello estate is in the heart of Chianti Classico, on the hillsides between the Greve and Pesa river valleys. It extends over 319 hectares, of which about 130 are dedicated to vines. Two of the estate's prized vineyards, Tignanello and Solaia, are situated on the same hillside, on soils originating from very old marine marlstone, rich in limestone and schist. The vines enjoy hot temperatures during the day and cooler evenings throughout the growing season. The estate's two signature wines, Solaia and Tignanello, are produced from these vineyards and have been defined by the international press as among the most influential wines in the history of Italian viticulture.
