Visual

Deep purple.

Palate

The taste combines aromas of blackcurrant and graphite with notes of black plum and cedar. The acidity is lovely and fresh. The fine tannins are smooth without being astringent and give the finish persistence. The balanced alcohol adds some heat to the finish and the fresh acidity keeps it long and lively.

Nose

Elegant and complex with aromas of red and black fruits layered over subtle notes of graphite.

Winemaking

Aged in barriques (80% new) for 18-22 months.
