Nèprica Primitivo - 2022 - Puglia IGT
Deep ruby red with purplish hues.
With a soft and wide entrance, the palate is sapid, structured and followed by a pleasant fruity aftertaste.
The nose is dominated by notes of red fruit such as black cherry, plum, and candied orange combined with delicate sweet sensations of rosehip flowers and licorice.
The grapes were destemmed, crushed and transferred to stainless steel tanks where the alcoholic fermentation took place, which lasted 8-10 days at a controlled temperature of around 26 °C. The malolactic fermentation is finished by the beginning of winter. A period of further refinement then followed, first in steel for about 8 months and then in the bottle for another 4 months.
