Visual

Palate
Aromas of cherries and subtle spices, followed by a rich taste of ripe red fruits, complemented by silky tannins for an elegant and persistent finish.
Nose
Fresh aromas of cherries, raspberries, and red plums, complemented by subtle notes of violets, herbs, and a hint of spice.
Winemaking
The grapes for Reserve Marlborough Pinot Noir come from a selection of premium Pinot Noir vineyards in the Southern Valleys and Ward subregions. After harvesting, the fruit was cold macerated for approximately five days to extract flavor, tannins, and color. Fermentation followed in a selection of small open-top tanks using a selection of wild and selected yeasts. Each fermentation was stirred twice a day. The wine was left to macerate for five days before being gently pressed to separate the skins. The wine underwent malolactic fermentation during maturation in oak barrels. The final blend includes 20% new oak.
