Visual
Deep garnet with a purple hue.
Palate
Full-bodied, with structure and freshness. Vibrant, upright acidity is the most distinctive characteristic of this great cool-climate Syrah, with soft tannins and a long, clean finish.
Nose
Expressive aromas of blackberries and blueberries with black pepper notes on the nose. Black olives and tertiary aromas of tar and toffee.
Winemaking
The grapes are selected during the harvest and later in the winery through selection tables. They then undergo a 2-day cold pre-fermentation maceration, and the must is inoculated with yeast and selected bacteria. The wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
