Deep ruby.
Juicy and seamless on the palate, with sweet raspberry and floral pastille flavors showing very good depth and energy. Clings nicely on the long, spice-tinged finish, which features supple tannins.
Aromas of ripe red berries, cherry skin, lavender and smoky minerals and sweet spices.
25-30 days of traditional fermentation in temperature-controlled vats. Matured in vats for 10 months, then in French oak foudres (30 hl) for about 7 months. Bottled at 15-16 months, released at 18 months.
