Château Angludet

Château Angludet

Château Angludet is a vineyard located in the Bordeaux region, Margaux appellation, in the Médoc, on the left bank of the Gironde. The estate is managed by Benjamin Sichel who adopts biodynamic practices to passionately produce great red wines. Angludet is one of the oldest properties in the Médoc. It owes its name to the knight Bertrand de Angludet who built his house there in the 12th century. The vine was probably introduced at the beginning of the 17th century during the expansion of the Gironde vineyard in the Médoc peninsula. In 1961, Peter and Diana Sichel, wine merchants, fell in love with this place and decided to settle here to live and realize their dream of producing an exceptional wine. The property is rising from its ashes, with Peter and Diana Sichel dedicating their lives to renovating this special place. Today, their children and grandchildren live on the property and strive to make Château Angludet known to all lovers of great wines worldwide.
