Vin Domaine des Chenevieres

The roots run deep at Domaine des Chenevieres with the new crew of winemakers representing the 6th generation of winemakers. A family-run estate that makes wines that will tantalize the nostrils with its amazing aromatics. Vincent and Nicolas Lenoir and their wives, and now their children, work with passion on the vines, whilst respecting traditions to provide their customers with all these enchanting aromas which tempt the taste buds for their great enjoyment.The estate is situated in St Maurice de Satonnay, a small village mid way between Macon and Cluny. The 41 ha vineyard covers three villages: St Maurice de Satonnay, Peronne and Aze, also renowned for its prehistoric caves. The vines are planted on the hillsides or middle hillsides on the south/south-east exposed clay-limestone land where various noble grape varieties grow together in harmony.There is a great balance between the old and the new here; tradition and modernity.  There is a respect of the traditional methods of vilification but an acceptance of new oenological method (pneumatic press, controlling the temperatures during the alcoholic fermentation) this balance enables them to preserve the typicity and quality of the wines made.
