Vin Wild Rock

Wild Rock started with the goal to create some of New Zealand’s most distinctive and affordable wines. They wanted to make wines that would represent the best flavours of every region in New Zealand. The Wild Rock Wine Company is a producer of regionally diverse wines from a combination of owned, leased and contracted vineyards in Hawke's Bay, Martinborough, Marlborough and Central Otago. They select each vineyard for their soils and small areas with unique climates. With each new vintage, the team at Wild Rock uncover new challenges, ideas and vineyards. Each wine aims to reflect the fruit, the time and place.Wild Rock Wine Company Vineyards winemaking operations occur at two purpose built facilities in the Hawke's Bay, and to a small extent in contract facilities in the south Island. The winemaking facilities are have been design for diverse small batch wine making and larger batch contract processing and wine finishing. Steve Smith MW, the winemaker of Craggy Range, has been involved in the Wild Rock wines for a many years. Wild Rock’s goal is clear and simple to make new and unforgettable wines which will surprise you and linger in your mind longer than the rest. Wild Rock represents ‘Classic New Zealand wines’ which are more affordable but still maintain the high quality.
