Visual

Dark ruby-red color with purple hues on the rim.

Palate

On the palate, aromas of black currants, notes of graphite and toasted bread. The acidity is fresh and balanced by fine, rich tannins.

Nose

Flowers, especially violets, spices, and very ripe fruits such as blueberries and blackberries.

Winemaking

Maceration for 3 weeks. Vinification in barriques (75% new) for 16-18 months.
