Visual

Bright deep ruby red with violet hues.

Palate

Rich and intense, with notes of ripe black fruits, well-balanced acidity and velvety tannins.

Nose

Complex aromas of fresh blueberry, black cherry and ripe, black plum. Hints of prune, coffee, Italian herbs, cinnamon and wood smoke.

Winemaking

Fermentation on skins for extended maceration before pressing, then 12 months maturation in French oak barrels, being regularly topped and racked. The wine received a traditional egg white fining before bottling. It will continue to evolve in the bottle for two to four years from harvest.
