Rockbare Riesling - 2019 - Clare Valley
Straw yellow, with a light green hue.
The wine is fresh and floral, with taste notes of ripe lemons and limes. A secondary taste note reminds us of lemon tart, due to the contact that the wine has with the lees, a sensation that completes and balances the acidity. It is crispy and dry, with an acidic grapefruit structure, especially in the aftertaste.
It is showing some complexity, with some pretty floral notes on the nose, alongside the distinctive intense citrus aromas and subtle hints of wet stone.
Fermented in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures and left on lees for 4 months before bottling.
