Senatore Primitivo - 2017 - Gioia del Colle D.O.C.
Deep red with purple hues.
Dry, warm, soft, quite tannic, tasty.
Intense and persistent, fine, slightly spicy bouquet.
Vinification: handpicked grapes are carefully selected in the cellar, then crushed and de-stemmed, and then kept in steel tanks for fermentation of the skins at a controlled temperature. Once the skins are separated, the wine goes into steel silos. Ageing: slowly in 50 hl Slavonian oak barrels, preferably already flavoured by other wines, for a period of about 12 months.
