Dos Deus Origins Smoked Cask Finish

This vermouth is a modern and accessible interpretation of the Dos Déus style, retaining the friendly character of the Origins range, but adding a distinctive aromatic dimension through a short maturation period of 1 to 3 months in reused DIP barrels. These barrels, which are being used for the second or third time, impart subtle, finely integrated smoky notes to the vermouth without dominating the floral and herbaceous identity that defines its profile.

On the nose, the vermouth presents a surprising aromatic complexity: intense, elegant, and well-structured. The aromas of flowers, wood, and smoke intertwine harmoniously, offering a seductive and unique bouquet, where the smoky note accentuates, without overshadowing, the vegetal and floral character of the aromatic plants. It is a different vermouth, but true to its nature.

On the palate, it impresses with its richness of nuances and exemplary balance. It is velvety, expressive, with a natural balance between sweetness, bitterness, and acidity, resulting in a taste full of freshness. The texture is light and fruity, accompanied by a discreet smoky touch that evokes the elegance of an American whiskey, with moderate notes of vanilla and charcoal. The caramel aromas are fine, well-balanced, without weighing down the palate. The finish is long, sweet, herbaceous, and spicy, with a subtle "Scottish" personality.
