Domaine Gueguen

Between the vineyards of Auxerrois and Chablisien, the estate of Céline and Frédéric Gueguen consists of 36 hectares of vines in the villages of Chablis, Chichée, la Chapelle Vaupelteigne, Saint-Bris and Irancy. Five different grapes are grown: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon, Aligoté, Sacy, and all wines are vinified with indigenous yeasts. Céline comes from a family of winegrowers from Saint Bris & Chablis. After working for her father, Jean-Marc Brocard, on his estate for 13 years, Céline together with Frédéric decided in 2013 to continue on their own and create their wines. The style of the wines produced by Céline and Frédéric Gueguen is modern, with a permanent commitment to respecting and expressing the identity of the terroir. One of their main goals is soil conservation, which is why they use neither chemical fertilizers nor herbicides. Wines made from 2015 onwards have been made using exclusively organic processes, and the estate began its conversion to organic farming with its 2019 harvest.
