Vin Borgogno

Giacomo Borgogno & Figli is considered one of the families that put Barolo on the world wine map, the famous producing house proud of its status as a promoter of the classic winemaking style. The winery was founded in 1761, although this family remembers the year 1848 as the official date, the year in which the first taxed sale was made. The vineyards cover an area of ​​approximately 21 hectares and are located in the best areas of the Barolo appellation, including Liste, San Pietro delle Viole and Rue. The collection of Borgogno wines is also impressive, some of the wines being produced before the Second World War. Including today, the Borgogno family hoards a considerable amount of wines, periodically launching on the market collections and verticals of Barolo from historical harvests.
