Domaine Tropez

Domaine Tropez was established in 1996 and comprises over 40 hectares of AOC Côtes de Provence vines. The vineyard has undergone a major reconstruction, requiring a large investment to build a state-of-the-art winery. Over time Domaine Tropez has become one of the leading wine producers in the region. The dominant vineyards around the estate and in the region are grown with Grenache, which gives structure and flavor, and Tibouren, a specific vine from the Gulf of Saint-Tropez region, bringing elegance and finesse. Other complementary grape varieties are also grown here: Cinsault for rosé, Rolle and Semillon for white, Syrah and Cabernet for red wines. In the first 20 years of the estate, through hard work and unwavering conviction, Domaine Tropez has achieved awards, indicating that value is not only gained over time, showing that the tradition of French wine is still capable of modernization, richness and pleasure. The personality of the estate's wines is the result of exceptional circumstances. The vineyards are under the strong maritime influence of the clayey and calcareous soils and the sandy Mediterranean. By the principles of organic farming, all vine cultivation procedures are thought out wisely: regular mechanical weeding is carried out to limit chemical weed control, using certified organic fertilizers. Harvesting is done at a low temperature to obtain white and rosé wines with elegant, complex, crisp aromas.
