Vistamare - 2022 - Toscana IGP
Clear and bright green lemon.
On the palate, it is fresh and compact with notes of bergamot, pear, nectarine and white currant. Then it shifts toward a more mineral and spicy character, with notes of flint, rosemary, saffron. The wine gets riper in the finish with hints of mango, almond and fig leaves.
Intense floral notes of acacia and linden flowers. The refreshing presence of Fiano gives notes of fern, musk and menthol.
The Vermentino has been fermented in stainless steel and concrete tanks, while the Viognier in 500 liter French and Austrian tonneaux and a part in smaller wooden casks. The Fiano ferments half in steel and half in wood (500-liter tonneaux). The varieties are all fermented separately and then blended together to make the final wine.
