Opaque purple.
Palate
Intense black and blue fruit and spice flavors; a softer style, with a rich, velvety texture. Cedar and spice notes frame cassis notes, lingering through the long, supple finish.
Nose
Powerful, highly complex aromas of red/blue fruit preserves, licorice, olive paste and potpourri carry a sexy floral overtone.
Winemaking
Hand-picked, sorting on the plot, in small crates. The vatting period lasts around 4 weeks with gentle extraction of the aromas and colors. Aged in French oak barrels (15% new).
